By Hop Nevuel

In a turn of events that could have come straight from the X-Files, Hornchurch has seen its third
miraculous rags to riches story this year, leaving the State asking itself, 'is this the luckiest place on Earth?'

In the last 24 hours, former handyman Dennis Horen has become the 25th millionaire in our small community, and like

all the others, his wealth has been delivered by Lady Luck herself. Den, 26, was on his way home from work
yesterday afternoon when he stopped to purchase a regular $2 State Lotto ticket at nearby Devil's Peak Multi-Mart.

Staggering Odds

'There was something different about the fella' says store clerk and Veteran Randy Hankin, 'like he was sure he was goin' to win'.
And sure enough he did - for last night every one of Den's numbers came up, at the staggering odds of 16 million to one. State Lotto spokesperson
Rodeo Kline adds, 'He sure was fortuitous; the jackpot stood at only $444,000 yesterday afternoon. Somehow we sold a heck of a lot more tickets
for this guy to become a millionaire.'

A Somebody

In Dennis' own words, "Yesterday I was a nobody, fixing things for folk and making a buck wherever I could. Today I'm a somebody, sitting right
here in my new home, with my new girl on my arm, eating the finest food and drinking the finest lager known to man. Forget heaven man.
I'm living there now."
